I’m David Del Francia, MA, AMFT #146855, a pre-licensed therapist based in Los Angeles. I work at CopeHouse Collective under the supervision of Chalsey Miller, LMFT #103869. I provide therapy for adults, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and communication challenges.
My approach is relational, mindfulness-informed, and grounded in emotional awareness and curiosity. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, trauma informed CBT, Rogerian principles, and mindfulness practices to help clients better understand themselves, their patterns, and the ways they relate to others. I’m especially interested in how past experiences shape present relationships, coping styles, and sense of identity.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts and studied fine arts at the graduate level, experiences that continue to influence the way I think about creativity, meaning, and personal growth. I also spent time practicing and studying within mindfulness communities, which deepened my interest in mindfulness, compassion, and the connection between emotional and physical experience.
I see therapy as a collaborative process that creates space to slow down, reflect, and develop a more grounded and intentional relationship with yourself and others.
